StepStone receives commitment from Taiwan Life Insurance

Taiwan Life Insurance joins its peer to invests in StepStone’s fourth secondaries fund.

Taiwan Life Insurance agreed to make a $30 million commitment to StepStone Group’s Secondary Opportunities Fund IV. The Taiwanese investor also committed the same amount to StepStone Secondary Opportunities Fund III.

Fund IV has also attracted capital from Cathay Life Insurance and Fubon Life Insurance. The fund, together with its offshore sidecar, has raised over $300 million of capital, according to SEC filing.

As illustrated below, this is the first secondaries fund commitment made by the Taiwanese life insurer in 2019.
