Spring Bridge hires Coller investment manager

The appointment is the firm's second this year and brings its total staff to seven.

Spring Bridge Partners has hired a Coller Capital investment manager, bringing its total number of staff to seven.

The New York-based firm, which was founded by two Coller partners, hired Clement Beaudin as a vice-president, according to its website. Beaudin, who is based in New York, spent four years at Coller and previously worked at energy and power-focused private equity firm Riverstone.

“We’re thrilled to bring Clement on board as we continue to build a team with both a deep experience in complex secondaries and a long history of having worked together,” managing partner Sebastien Burdel told Secondaries Investor.

Beaudin’s hire follows that of fellow Coller alum Raudel Yanez who joined as a director in January. Burdel told Secondaries Investor in January that the firm intended to hire several additional staff at vice-president or director level over the next few months.

Last November the firm hired Anwer Farooqui, Abu Dhabi Investment Authority’s former secondaries head, as a senior advisor.

Burdel and former Coller partner Luca Salvato launched Spring Bridge in 2017. The firm focuses on GP-led transactions, spin-outs, structured deals involving loans, preferred debt or preferred equity, and liquidity to GPs, according to its website.

Deals the firm has backed include the spin-out of Wafra Partners, the direct equity investment division of Wafra Investment Advisory Group, to form Granite Bridge Partners.
