Ardian Secondaries Fund VIII and co-investment vehicle receive commitments from PA SERS

The US public pension has backed two private equity-focused secondaries funds.

Pennsylvania State Employees’ Retirement System (PA SERS) has approved commitments of up to $100 million to Ardian Secondary Fund VIII and up to $50 million to Ardian Secondary Fund VIII Co-Investment, a contact at the pension informed Secondaries Investor.

PA SERS is a repeat investor in Ardian secondaries funds, having committed to four such vehicles in the last ten years.

As illustrated in the charts below, these commitments are the first two PA SERS has made to secondaries vehicles since Ardian Secondary Fund VII in 2015.
